Local Food
Local food means food that is grown, harvested and traded all in the same geographical area.
Approximately 75% of the vegetables in your box will be grown by us. They will arrive at your collection point having travelled from the field to the pack house. The furthest we deliver is 25 miles. Nothing in your vegetable box will be air freighted.
Local Economy
Local food supports your local economy. We employ 10 people who all live within a few miles of work.
Freshness Assured
Local food means fresh food. Many of our crops are picked the day you receive them. This means they are at their most nutritious and taste fantastic.
Come And See
Local means you can come and see where your vegetables grow. Bring your children to see where their food comes from and help begin to create the link between producer and consumer.

We have thousands of visitors each year, mostly school groups who pick and eat their way around the garden and develop, what we hope, will be a lasting desire to know where their food originates from.
We support the Soil Association food for life programme and supply local schools with vegetables for their school dinners
